The University of Indianapolis has announced its newest campus construction project and contractor. Wilhelm Construction Company of Indianapolis will build South Hall, a residence hall that will open for the 2012-2013 school year.

Wilhelm was the general contractor of this student center expansion project. The project included a 25,000 square foot addition and 3,100 square foot renovation of the existing facility. Within the facility, Wilhelm oversaw the creation of a 500 seat student dining area. This dining area features a “scatter feed” cafeteria style servery and flexible seating. A double height student gathering space adjoins. Site development including road relocation, utility relocation, parking lot expansion and landscaping was also Wilhelm’s responsibility.
