The University of Indianapolis has announced its newest campus construction project and contractor. Wilhelm Construction Company of Indianapolis will build South Hall, a residence hall that will open for the 2012-2013 school year.

Construction continues on the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Eye Institute, scheduled for a 2011 completion. Wilhelm is the construction manager on this four-story building, which will include the adult outpatient clinic, ophthalmology classroom and an optical shop. A concrete superstructure – a Wilhelm specialty – will be used in construction of the building to ensure that vibration won’t be a problem for sensitive optical research equipment.
