Wilhelm was general contractor for the new expansion that houses outpatient programs, recovery management counseling, family support groups and Hope Academy, Fairbanks’ recovery high school. When budget concerns began to change the architect's dreams into a boxy nightmare, Wilhelm stepped in and offered cost-saving suggestions and encouraged subs to do the same. The result was a project within budget and with the distinctive design elements still intact. The client was so pleased that several more projects for Fairbanks are currently under construction.
