The University of Indianapolis has announced its newest campus construction project and contractor. Wilhelm Construction Company of Indianapolis will build South Hall, a residence hall that will open for the 2012-2013 school year.

Wilhelm has multiple projects currently in progress at the new Wishard Hospital. Wilhelm is the general contractor of the 3,000 car, six-level, cast-in-place, post-tensioned parking structure. The structure will have three entrances and three stair / elevator towers and will stand on the west side of the new Wishard campus. Wilhelm is also the general contractor overseeing the installation of the auger cast piles, the foundations package for the new hospital and the concrete structure for the core package. The new Wishard Hospital is pursuing LEED silver certification.
