Cummins Parking Structure
The design of the structure encompasses the essential features of a modern parking garage, while simple enhancements to the façade and interior allow it to blend with the architectural surroundings of the downtown area. The façade features a green screen system of panelized planting boxes with growing ivy to block the view of cars on each level. Construction was completed nearly one month ahead of schedule with no accidents and no injuries after nearly 50,000 man hours.
IU Health Neuroscience Center Parking Structure
IU Health is Indiana’s most comprehensive healthcare system that is comprised of hospitals, physicians and allied services dedicated to providing preeminent care throughout Indiana and beyond. Located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, the Neuroscience center façade is designed to mimic brainwave patterns. An elevated pedestrian walkway spanning 16th Street connects this new facility to the IU Health People Mover and other IU Health Facilities. The IU Health Neuroscience Center is a state-of-the-art, five-story, 270,000-square-foot building that is attached to a 942-car, six-level parking garage. Neuroscience Center achieved a LEED Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Indianapolis Airport Parking Structure
The Indianapolis International Airport serves as a gateway to the city offering world-class service and commitment to its visitors. The Indianapolis International Airport contains a 7,500-car parking structure consisting of more than one million square-feet. Due to the complexity of this project’s concrete structure and the tight schedule, it was constructed as 8 separate structures. The entire structure was wrapped in waterproofing to prevent chemical leakage, and several monitoring wells were installed to provide access to test the surrounding groundwater for chemical leakage.
One America Parking
The OneAmerica Tower is a 38-story building in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. Pedestrians can now walk above New York Street, in Indianapolis, Indiana, through a bridge connecting the OneAmerica office building and OneAmerica parking garage. The OneAmerica parking garage is a six level, 1,237-car, post-tensioned parking structure.
The new parking garage in the center of the City of Carmel will support further development of the growing City Center campus. The five-story garage will have at least 725 spaces and approximately 28,000 square-feet of commercial retail/office space. F.A. Wilhelm is serving as the design-build on the project and was chosen for the unique design that fit seamlessly into the Carmel City Center aesthetic. The Carmel City Center, Park East included, features masonry face brick, metal features, glass storefronts, architectural concrete panels, and a unique blend of colors.
