Our industry is highly dependent on the talents and capacity of a diverse workforce. Wilhelm’s Diversity Committee works directly with minority, women, and veteran owned (M/W/V)  businesses and industry organizations to identify opportunities and provide avenues for engagement. Also, working together with global clients on diversity initiatives, Wilhelm actively leads programs designed to support and grow diversity participation.

Guaranteeing diversity inclusion requires continual and on-going proactive strategies. Highlighted below are examples of Wilhelm’s activities employed to ensure M/W/V/DBE inclusion.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential M/W/V/DBE subcontractors and suppliers
  • Develop a database of potential / qualified M/W/V/ DBE subcontractors and suppliers
  • Identify upcoming opportunities, host outreach events and align bidding packages with capacities and resources
  • Connect with community organizations devoted to the growth and development diversity firms
  • Encourage other partners and subcontractors to adopt diversity inclusion practices
  • Track and report diversity inclusion metrics
