Quality is uncompromising and is led from the top with engagement by everyone involved. Our Corporate Quality Director is responsible for Wilhelm’s Quality Assurance Program which is developed based on disciplined and consistent methodologies and follows the established principles of the ISO 9000:2001 standard.

We maintain exceptional project controls through our Quality Management System, which comprises a Project-specific Quality Plan, strong communication, worker training and inspections. Subcontractors are required to submit a company or trade-specific quality assurance plan identifying activities that must be inspected or tested, also known as an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).

Our strong record of providing exceptional and consistent quality is the reason we work for many of the world’s leading companies in heavily regulated construction industries such as pharmaceutical, food, chemical and energy industries.

Each project begins with our standardized Quality Assurance Management System which is modified to suit the needs of any project’s requirements. This modified program then becomes what is known as a Project-Specific Quality Plan (PSQP).  The core principles of a PSQP are as follows:

  • Document control
  • Control of quality records
  • Material control
  • Inspection and testing plans
  • Field observations and surveillance checks of in-process work
  • Corrective action
  • Control of nonconformance
  • Internal auditing
Wilhelm Construction incorporates quality into every project
