Cartridge Fill Line

Indianapolis, IN

As diabetes within the world population rises so does the need for insulin. This client’s new technology was developed to mass produce insulin pins to better meet the world supply demands.

Wilhelm provided CMc services for a pharmaceutical client’s fill and finish facilities. These two-story structures, with basements, aid in the efficient manufacturing of technologically advanced insulin cartridges. A strong accomplishment for the project team was integrating with owner furnished equipment delivery dates. These dates were synchronized with physical access constraints and process system readiness to ensure we minimized the duration from equipment arrival until the start of Site Acceptance Testing (SAT). By minimizing this duration, we were able to improve upon the overall commissioning and qualifications duration and assist in bringing medicine to patients on a shorter time frame.
