Broad Ripple is an expansive neighborhood bringing people from all over to enjoy the nightlife, cultural aspects, the Monon Trail and all around welcoming community. With the amount of people traveling to Broad Ripple, it only makes sense to renovate areas that receive a lot of foot traffic where people are prone to notice and appreciate landscape architecture and updated pathways.

The Broad Ripple Esplanade project brings these pieces to fruition along the canal walk with revamped landscape architecture, including indigenous plants, trees, fresh mulch, defined pathways and a new concrete step entrance / patio to the Fresh Thyme grocery store. The project was designed as one of the most innovative and complex trails within the city that simultaneously creates urban gathering spaces while integrating a pedestrian trail connection.
