Republic Airways developed a new Indianapolis headquarters and training campus, consolidating operations into a centralized location designed to support the company’s expanding workforce and training needs.

Wilhelm partnered with Republic Airways early in the planning process, providing comprehensive preconstruction services including budgeting, estimating, value engineering, material selection, scheduling, and logistics planning. Delivered through a multi-phased Design-Build approach, the campus development includes a training facility, corporate headquarters, parking structure, and ongoing lodging expansion.

• Renovation and expansion of employee lodging facilities
• Construction of a 105,000 SF flight simulator and training facility
• Construction of a 126,000 SF corporate headquarters
• Construction of a 300,000 SF, eight-level mixed-use parking garage

Flight Simulator and Training Facility

Completed in 2023, the 105,000 SF training center serves as the hub for Republic Airways’ pilot, flight attendant, and maintenance training programs. The facility includes eight full-motion flight simulators, 18 virtual and in-person classrooms, specialized training systems, and an Exploration Room designed to support hands-on learning and workforce development.

Mixed-Use Parking Garage

Completed in 2024, the 300,000 SF, eight-level parking structure provides 875 parking spaces and incorporates mixed-use elements, including commercial space on the ground level and residential units on the second level.

Corporate Headquarters

Completed in 2026, the 126,000 SF corporate headquarters serves as the centerpiece of the Republic Airways campus. The facility brings together key business functions in a modern workplace designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement.

Hotel Renovation and Expansion

As part of the campus development, Wilhelm converted the former Hampton Inn from a 109-room hotel into a 274-room lodge for Republic Airways employees, trainees, and guests. The renovation included extensive interior improvements and exterior façade enhancements to align with the overall campus design.

Building on that successful transformation, Wilhelm is currently constructing an expansion to the lodging facility to accommodate Republic Airways’ continued growth and increasing training demands. The expansion will provide additional guest accommodations while maintaining a seamless connection to the existing campus environment.
