The casino operator upgraded this facility with a new 165,000 SF Gaming and Event Center. Additional scope included renovation to the horse racing track between seasons. During the off-season, Wilhelm worked closely with the owner and their events schedule to minimize impact to continued racing operations. The newly renovated facility consists of 2,500-seat grandstands, a ballroom, and several new bars. The former racetrack was replaced with a new Tapeta synthetic track. A historic racing machine gaming venue was added to the 240,000 SF project. Wilhelm served as the Construction Manager.
