Health Professions Building

On the leading edge of interprofessional education and practice, the Health Professions Building provides a state-of-the-art facility for Ball State University’s newly formed College of Health and anchors a new East Quad on campus. Additionally, the new building meets LEED Gold Certification. Wilhelm served as the general contractor for the new structural steel framed building provides a new home for six departments that were previously scattered across Ball State’s campus: the Department of Counseling Psychology, Social Psychology and Counseling; the School of Kinesiology—Sports Training Program; the School of Nursing; the Department of Nutrition and Health Science; the Department of Social Work; and the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology.
The new space features clinics, laboratories and centers which may service the community, be federally funded research engines, or teaching labs. Nearly 7,000 students are able to use this new building.
