Wilhelm was excited and humbled to be a part of one of our most unique projects in our history, a visual landmark at the corner of Capital and Georgia Streets. Wilhelm and Poynter Sheet Metal were invited and entrusted by the Indiana Sports Corp. and the Latinas Welding Guild to partner in designing, fabricating, and erecting a scaled replica of the Eiffel Tower. Commissioned for our renowned reputation and expertise, we streamlined the design and construction process.

This landmark project featured a scaled version of the Eiffel Tower, standing proudly at 66 feet tall. Supported by four robust concrete foundations, each 3 feet tall by 7 feet wide, the structure incorporated more than 14,000 lbs. of steel angle for stability and strength, demonstrating our commitment to quality and safety.

Our company’s steel division successfully fabricated and erected the 66-foot-tall replica of the famed Eiffel Tower. This achievement was made possible through the collective efforts, tireless dedication, and spirit of collaboration of over a hundred individuals from six diverse, local Indianapolis businesses over the past month, turning this vision into reality.
