The Indianapolis Consolidated Civil and Criminal Courthouse stands 12 stories tall and offers a more accessible and technologically advanced experience. The two-story glass public entrance serves as a screening checkpoint for both the courthouse and the Sheriff’s Building. The facility features state-of-the-art audio-visual and court recording technology that increases efficiency, and effectiveness and allows for remote court hearings. There are 27 courtrooms, and 34 hearing rooms which unites the judicial services for Marion County within a single state-of-the-art, sustainable, and accessible complex.
