IU Health Bloomington Regional Academic Health Center Central Utility Plant

The Central Utility Plant (CUP) is an integral part of IU Health’s new Bloomington Regional Academic Health Center, which consists of an Integrated Care Center, Specialty & Cancer Care Center and an Academic Building housing Indiana University’s School of Health Sciences. The CUP houses all major mechanical and electrical systems serving the new health campus and connects to IU’s existing utility system. The campus had the unique requirement of completing the Educational Facility ahead of the hospital due to class schedule for Indiana University Medical students.
